Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
This Agreement outlines the scope of services ("Services") provided by Enception ("Provider") to Client ("Client") in connection with Generative Engine Optimization ("GEO") activities.
Scope of Services
Query and Platform Selection
- Assist the Client in identifying priority queries aligned with the Client's products, target user base, search traffic, and difficulty of improvement on generative engines.
- Advise the Client on the most relevant platforms for GEO efforts, including but not limited to ChatGPT and Google AI Overview.
Monthly Competitive Reporting
- Generate and deliver monthly reports tracking the Client's visibility on selected queries.
- Compare the Client's performance against key competitors across the chosen platforms.
On-Page Content Generation
- Create optimized on-page content designed to improve generative engine visibility.
- Focus on long-tail queries relevant to the Client's business.
- Volume and depth of content will be calibrated based on the Client's domain rating.
- Implementation of content recommendations will require coordination with the Client's engineering team for rewrites, updates, and integration into the Client's website.
- The Provider will generate the content; the Client is not required to separately approve each piece before deployment, unless otherwise mutually agreed.
Third-Party Outreach
- Identify and reach out to third-party publishers, media outlets, and content creators to improve the Client's product visibility and inclusion in relevant contexts.
- If inclusion requires payment or fees, the Provider will not cover such costs but will work with the Client to determine budget and approach.
PR Coordination
- Advise and coordinate with the Client's PR team to increase the likelihood of GEO success.
- Recommend updates to press releases, blogs, and announcements so they contain queries and phrasing more likely to be indexed and summarized by generative engines.
Social Media GEO Strategy
- Provide recommendations on structuring and distributing social media content for maximum generative engine visibility.
- Advise on video content strategies (e.g., leveraging TikTok videos for indexing on YouTube and Google).
- Support the Client's team in adapting social content to improve relevance in generative engine outputs.
Exclusions and Client Responsibilities
- Provider will not pay for any third-party media placement or sponsored inclusion.
- The Client is responsible for technical implementation and coordination via their engineering team where required (e.g., website rewrites).
- The Provider assumes responsibility for content creation and optimization recommendations.
Deliverables
- Initial platform and query selection roadmap.
- Monthly performance and competitor reports.
- On-page content drafts aligned with selected queries.
- Outreach summaries and recommendations.
- Ongoing PR and social media guidance.
