GEO, SEO & Reddit Service FAQ: Pricing, Timelines & What We Guarantee
The questions clients actually ask before working with us — how pricing works, what AI platforms we cover, how long results take, what we do and do not guarantee, reputation management, and whitelabel terms.
How does pricing work?
Pricing is flexible — we quote per project after looking at your site, since the work varies a lot (a fully client-side-rendered site, for example, is much more work to make AI-friendly). It's mostly a monthly engagement scaled to how many keywords you want to rank and how much your site needs. We run three broad tiers:
| Tier | Focus | Minimum cycle |
|---|---|---|
| SEO | Search rankings | 3 months |
| GEO (AI search) | Visibility in AI answers | 6 months |
| Full-service | Rankings + traffic, guaranteed | 6 months |
Is there a fixed retainer or base fee?
No. We charge by actual work delivered — backlinks, content, fixes — so you're not paying a flat retainer for idle months. The exact mix is flexible and quoted to your needs.
Monthly or annual?
Either works, and longer commitments are more flexible on price. Diagnostics are free.
Can you build the website too?
Yes — we can build an SEO-oriented site (a structure built to rank), priced to scope. It doesn't include custom product features like booking or checkout flows.
What about PR / publishing on media?
We publish on high-authority outlets that are DoFollow + DoIndexed — the placements that actually carry SEO/GEO value (cheap "media packages" whose articles Google never indexes don't). See our PR & media packages for outlets and pricing.
Can we start with a small pilot before committing?
Yes. We regularly slice a plan down to a small pilot with a 2–4 week checkpoint, then scale what works. For larger organizations, a framework contract with per-purchase-order billing also works.
How can we pay?
USD contracts through our US entity, RMB through our China entity, or card payment via Stripe. Corporate transfers and installment schedules are all fine.
Which AI platforms do you cover?
Standard coverage is ChatGPT and Google AI Overview. Gemini and Perplexity are available as add-ons, and Grok is possible too (extra cost, weaker results). Sora2 is a video model — there's no GEO value there.
Do you do domestic-China search?
For China we recommend GEO only. Baidu SEO ranks by who pays the most, not by content quality, so it isn't worth it. We can do Chinese-language GEO, but mainly for overseas Chinese-language search.
What channels do you actually use to move rankings?
The same handful that AI models read from: Reddit, industry/peer media, news media, social media, and your own website. The mix depends on your product.
Can you monitor our AI-search visibility?
Yes — we track appearance, average rank, and which source pages get cited across the major models. Monitoring is available on its own as a standalone option.
Does this work outside the US / in other languages?
Mostly yes, with caveats. Google site authority is global — expanding to a new country doesn't mean rebuilding the foundation, it adds localized keywords, landing pages, and region-targeted backlinks. And don't wait for users to appear in a region before optimizing: SEO works ahead of demand and routes users in. Reddit is the exception — its value is concentrated in US/English; non-English Reddit carries some SEO value but weak AI-citation value.
How is overseas GEO different from domestic-China GEO?
In China you can pay to place content on the big platforms — rankings rise fast and fall fast. Overseas, authoritative sites can't simply be bought, so visibility is slower to build but far more stable once it holds.
How is this different from traditional SEO?
Same cost, better results. We find the GEO-specific opportunities most SEO shops skip, and we write content the way AI chat answers actually pull from — not just for the classic blue-link index.
How are keywords chosen?
We work with long-tail and question-style keywords, defined jointly by you and us. One caveat: you can't pick an impossibly competitive keyword and expect it to rank — not even Sam Altman could buy his way onto some of those.
How do you measure "showing up" in AI answers?
Two numbers. Appearance rate: ask the same question 10 times, count how often your brand appears — we typically hit ~80%. Average rank: of the times it appears, where it lands — typically top 5.
What do you need from us?
Your product specs and parameters, the benchmarks your industry uses, and your main competitors. For technical fixes, we'll need access to the relevant backend or repo to submit changes.
Do we need SEO before GEO?
Usually, yes. AI answers pull from content that search engines can index and retrieve, so SEO is the foundation GEO stands on. If your site is weak (low authority, thin index), we fix that first — otherwise even great content never enters the pool AI picks from.
Will showing up in AI answers always bring website traffic?
No — and we'd rather tell you now. For some queries, users read the AI answer and never click anything. The mention still shapes buying decisions, but not every appearance becomes a visit.
How much content can our site absorb per month?
It scales with your site's authority. A low-DR site publishing 50 articles a month looks like spam to Google; the same volume on an established site is fine. We pace content to your current authority and raise the volume as DR grows.
You mention competitors in our content — doesn't that help them?
No. Competitor links are nofollow, so they pass no authority. Naming them makes the content read as objective (which both readers and Google reward) and lets the piece rank for the comparison keywords people actually search.
How long until I see results?
SEO can start moving within the first month. GEO is slower — figure roughly 60 days to hit the target, and the effect ramps up gradually (you might see a 10% appearance rate early on, climbing from there).
What are the minimum cycles?
SEO runs in 3-month cycles; GEO in 6-month cycles. We guarantee on-list performance for the contracted window (typically 60 days after a keyword reaches its target, or 3 months on the list), with the caveat that heavy competitor activity can require additional work.
What exactly do you guarantee?
We guarantee ranking and appearance, not downstream business outcomes. A realistic example: across ~200 target keywords, 15–30 reach top-3; appearance rate around 80%, average rank in the top 5.
Our top (full-service) tier guarantees traffic/effect. Lower tiers guarantee content volume and DR, with lower customization. We do not guarantee conversions, leads, or ROI — there are too many variables in your product, pricing, and stage that are outside our control.
Can payment be tied to performance?
Yes. We can structure milestones against mention/appearance-rate thresholds — for instance, releasing payment as the brand's mention rate crosses 30%, 40%, and 50%.
Do you have case studies / experience in my industry?
Yes — across 3C and consumer electronics, health hardware, B2B SaaS, local businesses, and more. We share progress reports periodically through the cycle, not just at the end.
What reporting do we get?
Near-real-time status on published content, weekly per-post data, and a monthly report covering share of voice, rankings, and AI mention rates — plus dashboard access so you can check any time without asking.
Can you remove or suppress negative content?
We can suppress it — push negative results off the first page — or get specific links de-indexed from Google. Direct takedowns are priced case by case and are never 100% guaranteed (some platforms, like YouTube, are harder). Important reality check: internationally there's no "authority" you can report a page to and have it forced offline. We work by contacting the host site directly or by getting Google to de-index the link (the page still exists, it just stops surfacing in search).
Why is Reddit so important for AI visibility?
Reddit is among the most-cited sources in AI answers. If you want to appear in ChatGPT or Google AI Overview responses, Reddit presence plus your own site is the highest-leverage combination.
Is Reddit marketing safe? What about shadowbans?
We follow account-nurturing best practices to minimize shadowban risk. We can't promise something is "100% safe" — nobody honestly can — but safety measures are built into how we run accounts. For pricing and scope on Reddit specifically, see our Reddit packages.
Who writes the Reddit content, and do we approve it?
We draft everything — from your product materials, subreddit research, and real user stories — and you review posts before they go live. Time-sensitive comments move on a faster lane, because a reply only works while the thread is hot.
Is the content written by AI?
AI helps with research and drafting; humans review, adapt to each community's rules, and post. Reddit polices automation aggressively, so fully automated posting is against both our practice and your interest.
What formats do you use, and when?
Four: dedicated long-form posts (story-style for Reddit-native reach, question/SEO-style for durable search traffic), comments on existing threads, listicle placements, and running a brand subreddit. Cold-start and crowdfunding products lean on story posts; established products get more from listicles and comparison threads; a brand subreddit is the long-term compounding play.
What happens if a post gets removed?
Some removals are part of the deal — most happen in the first hour, from moderators or automated filters. A removed post is rewritten fresh and reposted at no charge; delivery is counted on posts that survive, not on attempts.
How do you choose subreddits — and can you guarantee a specific one?
By audience fit, activity, moderation tolerance, and link policy. We prioritize large relevant communities but can't guarantee any single one — every sub's moderators have the final say, so plans always include alternates.
Can our own team join the threads?
Yes — and it helps. Once content lands, your people can join the discussion (even identifying as team members), as long as the accounts don't look like fresh accounts brigading.
Would Reddit ads be simpler?
Ads reach people while you pay and leave nothing behind — no rankings, no AI citations, no residue. Organic content keeps working after publication. Ads can complement a campaign, but they don't substitute for it.
Do you offer whitelabel or reseller terms?
Yes. Channel commission and profit splits are negotiable depending on the deal. We can sign directly with your client or let you sign and pay us. For partners who sell well, we can also build SaaS-style tooling so you can run more volume yourself.
